For the gameplay, there are two ways of playing. It would have been better if the fighters were remade into one style that's suitable, like the SNK-cast. Ryu & Ken look good, but there's also a lot of alpha-fighters with that alpha-look that doesn't suit into the nice 3D-background. The cast of SNK all look same in a good 2D-style, where Capcom has fighters from all sorts of style from their past. Seeing Capcom facing off against SNK is a good step, as here the fighting is more realistic when the fantasy-madness in Marvel vs. They don't make you stronger or faster, they are just different ways of using a super combo. But where the ISM's were real different styles, the grooves seems to not have much difference. SNK 2 EO, there are 6-grooves to choose from like the ISM's in Alpha 3. SNK 2 EO couldn't be far away from that level. Street Fighter has been taking to a new level since Street Fighter Alpha 3 and that was a very good 2D-fighting game. SNK 2 EO was coming to the gamecube, I was quite exited. I have always been quite a street fighter-fan so when I heard that Capcom vs. ![]() ![]() I've read a review of the PS2-version and they said it was pretty good.
